This vintage pin (brooch) was left from my grandmother. It was in a small box, in the back of a drawer filled with vintage scarves.. Pin is absolutely beautiful and in great condition (opens & closes perfectly) I'm sure it could use a good polishing to really show the beauty. It is made of real silver and it's marked 800 rather than 925 so it's a little less silver than actual Sterling. I was told that 800 was common in 19th & 20th century & in Europe - Germany, Italy etc. It means 80% silver 20% other metals.... This was only practiced in Europe and elsewhere not in the United States. It's really a beautiful unique Piece....i would love it to have a second life with someone that will enjoy wearing it............THANKS
